Elise has been teaching Yoga for over 10 Years and has run Group classes in Caversham for 8 years and Yoga Retreats in the UK and in Spain since 2014. Elise now offers one to one private Yoga sessions as well as private group classes at her home studio in Caversham. She also runs an extensive online library of classes making it more convenient for you to take a class with Elise whenever it suits you.
Elise is also a Soft Tissue Specialist holding the UK’s highest qualification in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy and is also trained as an Ayurvedic Therapist. She is continually updating her qualifications and is currently studying the closed chain biomechanics of the body and helping to re-educate people’s movement and unravel long standing patterns of tension.

Originally from Devon, Elise is a qualified teacher of Yoga and Dance and holds the UK’s highest qualification in Sports and Remedial Massage. Elise is committed to professional development and the delivery of up to date and relevant classes.
For Elise, Dance has been a passion since childhood. Over more than two decades she has studied a diverse range of dance styles gaining extensive experience and qualifications in performing, teaching, and choreographing in the UK and internationally. She trained initially as a contemporary dancer, gaining a first class honors degree from Middlesex University which is where she first discovered Yoga.
She has now been practicing Yoga for over 20 years and since becoming a group fitness instructor in 2006 she has coordinated and taught fitness programmes in health clubs and resorts across the UK and Europe. A patient and enthusiastic teacher Elise is deeply fascinated by the many physical and psychological benefits of Yoga and is keen to share her knowledge and experience.
As a Soft Tissue Massage & Ayurvedic Therapist Elise combines her in depth knowledge of anatomy with Yoga to provide an holistic approach to treatment for soft tissue injuries and muscular aches and pains.
